Engineer Ahmed runs Al-Nukhba Electronics in Alexandria, selling phones in different storage sizes (64GB, 128GB, 256GB) and different colours per model. The problem: one model, many combinations
A single phone in three storage sizes and two colours means six different combinations, each needing to be tracked separately. Mistakes here are costly — selling a 128GB unit only to discover it was the last 256GB unit at a cheaper price is a problem that repeats without a clear system.
Every storage size and colour is now its own combination
With Ttakka, Engineer Ahmed registers the model once and adds each storage/colour combination as a separate "variant" with its own price and stock. A sale deducts from exactly the right combination's balance, so he knows precisely how many units are left of each storage size and colour.
Serial number / IMEI: coming soon
One thing we need to be upfront about: Ttakka today manages stock at the model and variant level, not per individual device by serial number or IMEI. If your shop needs to track each unit by its serial number for warranty purposes, that feature is coming soon and isn't available yet.
Barcode selling still applies
Like any other item, every storage/colour combination has its own barcode, so staff scan the product and the price appears instantly with no confusion between different storage sizes.
The numbers, honestly
Instead of relying on a manual stockroom count every so often, Engineer Ahmed now sees the balance of every storage/colour combination anytime from the dashboard.
