Step 1: Go to the loyalty and VAT settings

From the store dashboard, go to the "Loyalty & VAT" screen. This screen brings together loyalty points settings along with welcome and birthday bonus settings in one place.

Step 2: Enable the welcome bonus

Enable the "new customer welcome bonus" option and set its value (points or a cash value, depending on your loyalty settings). Once you save, every new customer who signs up automatically gets this bonus calculated.
