Mr. Walid's barbershop Style in Dokki: separating service from product in one clean receipt

Mr. Walid runs Style Barbershop in Dokki, offering haircuts and grooming services, and also selling products like shampoo and creams for customers who want to take home what the barber used on them. Before Ttakka, the receipt was written by hand, and the difference between the service price and the product price was worked out on a calculator every time.

The problem: a service and a product in one receipt

A customer comes in for a haircut and beard trim (two services) then buys a bottle of wax (a product) — the receipt needs to show both correctly and separately, which took time to do by hand.

How Ttakka made it simple

With Ttakka, Mr. Walid registers services (haircut, beard trim, colouring) as items in the cashier just like any other item, and registers care products alongside them. The customer gets the service and the product, and the cashier combines them into one clear receipt with every line and its price.

Stock is only tracked for products

Services like haircuts have no stock (there's no "piece count" for a service), but care products have a stock balance the system tracks like any other item, so Mr. Walid knows when to reorder shampoo before it runs out.

Appointment booking: coming soon

Every salon owner's question: "can I book customer appointments from the system?" — the honest answer right now: it's coming soon. The Ttakka team is actively building appointment booking, and it isn't available in the cashier or dashboard yet. We'll update this post the moment it ships.

At-home beauty services: coming soon

Services like "haircut at home" also aren't part of the system yet — this is a coming-soon feature, not something that exists today.

The numbers, honestly

Instead of every service-and-product receipt being worked out by hand on a calculator, it's now one clear receipt from the cashier. Instead of Mr. Walid discovering shampoo ran out while looking for a bottle for a customer, he sees stock as it happens.
