Guide: How to Turn on Loyalty Points on TtaKkaa Step by Step
This guide is for a shop owner turning on loyalty points for the first time on their TtaKkaa catalog.
Step 1: Open loyalty settings
From the dashboard, go to the "Loyalty & Tax" page, and find the "Points Program" section.
Step 2: Turn on points and set the rate
Turn on the option, and set how many points get added per currency unit spent on the invoice. You can start with a simple rate and adjust it later based on how customers respond.
Step 3: Try the first invoice
Go to the cashier and ring up a sale for a customer registered with their phone number. You'll find points added to their account automatically once the invoice is confirmed.
Step 4: Turn on welcome and birthday bonuses (optional)
From the same page, you can turn on a welcome bonus for new customers and an annual birthday bonus, with no extra effort after the first setup.
Step 5: Check the points balance
From the customer's profile in the dashboard, you can see their current points balance and the history of every addition or reversal.
Common mistakes
The most common mistake is forgetting to link the customer to a correct phone number at the sale, which means points never get calculated for them. Always make sure the cashier enters the customer's number before confirming the invoice.
Next step
If you want to add a welcome and birthday bonus in detail, read the welcome bonus setup guide, or see the story of a shop already using this system.

Does the customer need a dedicated app to earn points?
No, points are recorded automatically against the customer's phone number at the sale, and the customer can view them from the TtaKkaa app if they install it.
Are points reversed if the customer gets a refund on the invoice?
Yes, the system reverses the points automatically if a refund happens on the invoice those points were calculated from, so the balance stays accurate.
